are fun to watch in the outdoors.
I've known Domenick for a couple years. He has spent a lot of time hanging out at my place while his dad helped me with some home repairs/renovations (thankfully - repairs largely completed at this point). Domenick would get excited for Sundays when we would work in the a.m., cool off in the pool and then take a boat ride to K&K for nachos and cheese. He was the only 11 year old I can imagine grabbing a caulk gun or paint brush to help so we can could get out on the boat timely.
Last year we registered him for Rock the Dock last as kind of reward for his work, and I realized he has a unique appreciation of the outdoors . He fished hard for two days without complaint. This past year I had the privilege of sitting in a ladder stand with him when he shot first deer. He then learned that meat doesn't come wrapped in cellophane, and he received a complimentary face painting.

Saturday, we braved the winds and found the reds stacked up. This one couldn't lay off Dom's spoon.

Glad I get to share the excitement!
