I'm looking to purchase a '02 or newer 2200v with a budget in the low $20K's. Also looking for a 15/17t or similar skiff.

One real good place to look would be the MBC Forums. They have a boats for sale section over there.

It's listed there too. Been a member of that forum for many years but you never know what you'll find elsewhere.

I picked up my boat from mikes marine ways yesterday. There was a 17' T there that he was working on. He said pathfinder built that boat like crap. He said all of their other boats were great, but they didn't build the 17t v very well. I've never heard anything bad about them until yesterday. I love my pathfinder and wouldn't sell her for what she cost brand new, so I hate to speak ill of the company. I'm just passing on what I was told by someone that knows a lot more about it than I do. Good luck

Try Searchtempest.

I actually bought my boat on eBay after a 9 month search. Knew what I wanted, talked to a lot of folks and looked at a few boats (a quick talk saved me a lot of driving in some instances).

Yes that is somewhat true. The 17t's built before 2000 had stringer problems. They would separate from the hull. After 2000 MBC fixed the problem. I have never heard of an issue of those built post 2000. Most of the pre '00 have been fixed and the ones that haven't can be fixed relatively easy. I'm looking for a '00 or newer just to be safe.

For the big boat, keep tabs on The Hull Truth. Same goes for MicroSkiff.com for the 17/15. They pop on there on a fairly regular basis.

Guess I should have said this in the beginning. I have all the main "for sale" forums/sites covered and craigslist. I just threw this out there in case you or anyone else knew of something not listed or maybe considered selling. Thanks again!

Picked up a '02 2200 today so my search for a skiff is still on.
