2016 Scallop Seminar

It's time once again for the annual Scallop Seminar in Steinhatchee.
Anyone planning to be in or around Steinhatchee for the opening weekend of scallop season should stop in.
It's a great opportunity to get your questions answered concerning the scallop life cycle, scallop abundance surveys, boating & diving safety rules and regulations, plus this year we will have a representative from the Artificial Reef Program to give a short talk about the reefs they're working on in the area.
It starts at 7:00 and usually lasts a couple of hours depending on how many people show up and the level of participation.
