Going to spend 5 days in Carrabelle. Never been there and need help on possible fishing spots. Have a 20 ft deckboat. Not going offshore. Weather pending would like to fish the bay and other areas. Fish the flats at Keaton and steinhatchee area normally. Staying at the mouth of the river. Thanks for any help.

I don't know what dates you'll be there, but I'll be staying between Carrabelle & Lanark June 12-17. This will be my first time taking a boat. (My son & I have just waded up to now & have done pretty well) Check out my post in the Inshore Fishing Reports & the replies. Maybe I'll see you on the water. I have a Blue & white Xpress B18H bay/flats boat (no Xpress logos on the sides) w/Yamaha 90 HP 4-stroke. I'll probably put in at Lanark Market & fish some of the areas suggested in the replies to my post, but I also want to fish west of Carrabelle.

Your going to have a blast. Not many restaurants- Fishermans wife is good.
Lots of great grass flats to the East all the way past Lanark. Trout on the flats, reds on the bars and docks.
Oyster bars to the east of the mouth have reds.

Little storm blowing through tonight might dampen your plans.

The Pearl is open.

Lanark Market looked like a boat parking lot Saturday. I am glad I was not in the rat race!
