I recently sold my Carolina Skiff 238dlv. Looking for something a little more family friendly since I have 3 kids ages 8 , 5 , and a new born. I'm looking at the Suntracker 24 fishing barge. I basically love all types of fishing. Inshore, river, lake, and pulling kids on tube. Need some help making my mind up.

There are a number of manufacturers taking the hull of a bay boat and adding "family friendly" features as options to make it more of an all round boat. As an example Key West has their "Family Sportsman" series which has been very popular from reading about them on their blog. If you compare the Family Sportsman boats to their Bay Reef boats you'll see options for a lot more cushions/deck pads, changing room/head options etc. The hulls are pretty much identical so you just choose what works for you and your family. Sort of reminds me of the Fish/Ski boats made by Bass Boat builders trying to capture some more market. I'm sure most of the Bay Boat builders do something similar.

Here's an option for fresh or salt, lake or bay.
