manatee sightings

I have been fishing the area at the north end of Piney Island where the big cove is. In a creek there a family of manatees spending the summer. At daybreak they are lounging around and feeding at the mouth. I caution anyone going in this area to be very careful of injuring these protected animals. Usually the dolphins come in to feed on the moving tides. I have counted six members there on multiple occasions.
