could the trout be back

Post by JohnPaul »

Went out of lighthouse at low tide this morning. Paddle half hour into the wind. Caught a small flounder, and a 20 inch red right away. After that good start I fished for over two hours without a bite. Just when I was ready to move, bang, another red, and another, and another. For the next 3 hours I caught 8 or 9 small reds, and 5 18 to 20 inch trout. all out of the same area. These were all around the oyster bar with shrimp under a cork. For me the fall season has started. ha ray.

Nice! And I'll be migrating down in a couple weeks for my Fall Oyster bar fishing trip!
If there's not a life after fishing, I don't want to live it.....
