10/22/16 Opening day deer hunt with my son.

We did not have long to hunt this morning as he had to go to Hands on Thomas Co. But we knew we could sit till around 8:30. At 7:51 we heard someone shoot close by and then shortly thereafter they shot again. We hoped they were moving and we would see one soon but nothing. At 8:05 I saw movement. I looked through the binos and saw it was a buck. We are out of meat so I pointed him out to my son. He got on him and dropped him on the spot. Heck yeah! 
. So we headed to the house to get his truck and the deer cart.

. He got to load his deer in his first truck. That he got two weeks ago. And of course we hauled butt to Dean's. They have really changed their set up and it is real nice. 
. Great opening day. But the deer check was a pain to get to work.
