NFGFC Meeting/Tourney UPDATE

Since the captains meeting for the Redfish challenge is the same night as our meeting and most members are fishing and required to show up to the other meeting, we area not going to have our meeting. If you would like to fish you can still sign up multiple ways. Online is the most convenient as you can sign up from anywhere. You can also meet up with myself or George as we work in multiple Verizon stores in town. Also, if you are attending the Redfish Challenge captain's meeting, you can bring me the money there.

As a reminder, non members can fish our tournament as well. Only stipulations are that you can only fish 2 per year without being a member, and there is a $5 non member fee which goes into the 100% payout.

Sorry for the last minute update but we have made a change to the weigh in time to give anglers the chance to fish our tournament as well as the redfish challenge without taking away too much time. So we have decided to move the weigh in time back to 4:30. I have confirmed with all but 2 of our pre-registered anglers and will follow up with them today. There was also a discrepancy with safe light on our web site and on here. So there is no confusion safe light will be changed to the earlier time @ 7:02am.

Also, Not sure how this one slipped thru the cracks but Joel from Sea Tow will also raffle off $250 to any NFGFC member that weighs a fish in our tournament tomorrow. So if you fish both tournaments, you have a shot at $1,250 just from Joel.

So since the rule change was announced this morning, is it too late to sign up ? Reason some didn't enter club tourny was because of the 1-1/2 extra fishing time between the two.

Thanks Jeff, Yes! You can sign up until 7am tomorrow morning. I just have to have the Paypal email receipt in my inbox before 7.

So, if you are a Sea Tow member and a member it could be the best $20 you spent with the $250 drawing.

Just want to make sure: NFGFC weigh in is NOT at St Marks outfitters, but at same place Fishing For the Brave weighs in (near St Marks ramp, about 5 minutes away)

So how did everyone do in the blow? Constant wind while I finished detailing the skiff. Imagine it was tough between wind and high pressure.

No results on Fishing for the Brave Challenge page either.
