St Marks trout were on fire. 11/25

Hit the water at 9am and ran to the spot we fished last Saturday and there were 5 boats in the immediate area. Looked on google earth and found a very similar looking spot just around the corner. Both spots have oyster bars, grass, and a deep water channel.
Glass minnows were on the surface and quickly we started catching 13-14" trout. After catching about 30 we had 3 keepers. We drifted 100 yards and got into 10 more trout and 3 keepers. Went 100 more yards and caught 4 more keepers along with a 24" and 19" and two 17" reds. Tide was now slack high and was starting to run out.
We turned around and went back 50 yards, fishing the opposite sides of the bars now and found the hole. We boated 50+ trout over the next hour with the majority of them being 16" fish. I even quit "working" the gulp and was doing straight cranking retrieves and caught 9 trout in 11 casts.
Water was 65.5 degrees if I remember right.
It was a day these 2 kids will not soon forget.
