We took out a wild bunch from Peachtree City Ga. last weekend. Weather conditions were rough on Saturday; 5ft. seas in the a.m. It calmed down in the afternoon but everybody had to hang on. Fishing around k tower caught a bunch of shorts but had 8 nice keepers to round out the day. Sunday was much better. We went a little further offshore into about 80 ft. of water and divided up into two teams three on each side. Team one called themselves the skoal patrol and team two the lazy banana team. You know what they say about bananas on a boat, monkey on your back. They even tried
to sneak bananas on the boat both days. We couldn't let them do that!

Frank Villella being the leader of the banana team caught a big tiger shark but didn't count as big fish. That honor went to David Geist with a 17 pd. gag grouper. Most fish caught went to Scott Seymore with 8 nice gags. Tony Villella caught nice fish as did Todd Stuart along with Rex Courtney who experienced his first time offshore fishing. Final total: skoal patrol 19; lazy bananas 11. Total for the day: 30 big nice black grouper. Also caught an 18 pd. red snapper but had to throw him back, ouch! Won't be long. April 15th recreational snapper opens back up! Everyone had a great time and is coming back in April and again in May. Looking forward to taking them back.

Until next time, tight lines and hookem up!

Captain Reid
