Skipper Bay Road

Wondering if anyone has been down Skipper Bay Road lately ? Wanting to put the kayak in over there this weekend. Remember the road was a mess a few years back..................thanks !
I paddled from Bottoms Rd to the Skipper Bay landing a few weeks ago. The end of it still looked as crazy as ever. I did make it through in a VW Rabbit, tried it once.
The only other problem I ran into was some standing water going in, this was last year. I went earlier this year and no standing water, but it did just rain for 2 days straight.
The standing water was maybe 2 to 3 inches, I'll make it through in the VW. There's a cut on the right side of the road going in, kind of in the middle of the woods before the hairy stuff starts. That's a little hand launch I usually put in at. It goes to a creek going out towards Skipper Bay. Low tides the creek gets skinny, like get out and drag the kayak skinny, but that's a good spot to put in as well.
