The wife, dog, and I put in at the state park and for the second time in as many trips we started the day with motor problems:-/ but a can of seafoam and a few choice words later we at least limped out to bay and the trout were home. They weren't jumping in boat but in 2 hours we caught 10 trout total 6 of them being keepers with 1 right at 20". They weren't really hitting a gulp under popping cork(only 1 of 10 fish) but were killing the same gulp bounced of bottom. White with red jig head was the color of choice for our limited time on the water. Hopefully after a little TLC the engines will be back to their purring selves next time down(trying to talk nice after all I said to them today!)
awesome man! Glad you guys were able to get out there.
Your carbs gummed up or what's the motor doing? Try giving it a hug the first thing in the morning when you get up, kind of like a "Good Morning! Great to see you!" and see if that works next time
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~Chuck Clark

A full can of carb cleaner and a lot of nasty smoke later she is running good! I will say that the duct tape over the crack I may have punched in the cowling really looks nice on her:-) from now on there is a to do in my phone to run the engine every 7 days no matter whether she is in the water or not!!!!
Nice! Interesting that trout are in the bay, as warm as it's been it shouldn't surprise me. Glad the motor is running better, they act up more when they don't get used for a while.
