Youth Weekend Hunt

Took advantage of the youth only weekend duck season.
Brought both of my little girls out - 4.5 and 6 years old. The 6 year old came last year and the 4.5 has been begging since then!
They had fun in the blind looking at stars and planets and seeing the early flights of ducks.
It was a little hard to stand still
We only had three shooters.
Two of the 12 year olds got their first ducks ever.
The 15 year old shot well until his gun jammed- I got it cleared but most of the shooting was done by then.
He got two stud drake buffies!
One of my friends brought his sons out to observe.
My girls had to pick up one themselves.
Then we cooked breakfast - Duck and Gator Sausage, Biscuits, doughnut, coffee and hot chocolate.
There was also a lot of BBgun shooting and playing in the mud

and cooking them up for dinner!
