Selling my Critchfield 14'6" flats boat with 25hp motor, this is a perfect boat for the flats fishermen that wants to be able to pole the creeks and fish the flats. It handles a chop much better than comparable sized flats boats and runs very skinny. This boat has the capability to do whatever type of inshore/nearshore fishing you could do in our area. Here's the link to craigslist, price is $4,000.

HEY FLATS HUNTER, THE FIRST CABIN BOAT I HAD WAS A CRUTCHFIELD 18 FOOTER WITH TWIN JOHNSON 40 H.P. ENGINES. WE WOULD PUT THE BABIES UP IN THE CABIN, THEN BABE AND I WOOULD TROLL FOR SPECKLE PERCH BY THE HOURS. IT WAS A PLYWOOD CONSTRUCTION AND I LASTED GOOD. WE HAD IT FOR ABOUT 15 YRS. DURING THIS TIME I SANDED HER DOWN AND REPAINTED IT , TWO-TONE BLUE. I CAN NOT REMEMBER HOW MUCH I PAID FOR THAT BOAT, SEEMS LIKE IT WAS AROUND $2,400.00 AND IT LASTED GREAT, I BELIEVE I SOLD IT FOR MORE THAN I PAID FOR IT. IF I WERE A LITTLE BIT YOUNGER I WOULD SURELY BE INTERESTED, CRUTCHFIELD HAS ALWAYS BUILT GREAT BOATS.
