Are you putting this on, JT? Who else is involved? Does it benefit any particular group or is this a business venture?
Thanks for any additional information for those of us who don't FaceBook.

Seatrout Challenge is a 2 person team event beginning March 18, 2017 thru May 2017. Events will alternate ramps beginning with Econfina ramp, then Aucilla ramp back to Econfina in May.
This tournament series will begin at safe light (1/2 hour before Sunrise). Boats will leave the ramp in order of sign up. Fish will be weighed in order of sign up.
All boats must check in with Tournament Director or designated person by 3:30 p.m.
Participants will weigh one (1) legal limit of Seatrout aka Speckled Trout 15-20 inches in length. One trout over 20" can be included in your 5 fish limit.
A team may weigh one (1) legal redfish 18-27 inches in length.
All fish will be measured with the head pressed against the official measuring device and the tail pinched.
The Seatrout Challenge Series is a artificial bait tournament only. No live bait, no cut bait allowed.
No wade fishing allowed.
Entry fee is $60.00 per team and must be paid in cash as payouts will be in cash.
A payback of 50%...30%...20%...will be paid to 1st, 2nd, 3rd place only.

Yes, I am conducting this tournament for the love of tournament fishing.
No one else involved at this time.
All entry fees paid back to participants in winning categories.
No groups....No charities....No profit...

Sounds good. Thanks for the clarification. Especially like the lure/no bait aspect. Wish some of the other local events would adopt the same rule.
Haven't gotten any scratches on the new hull yet, so will probably pass this season with the Aucilla stipulation. Good luck with everything though. I'm sure the trout will be "jumping" in everyone's boats, especially when they're fishing your holes.

Two-seat canoes allowed? I need to justify keeping the one I own to my wife.

As long as there are 2 registered teammates in the same canoe, yes.

I've never done the tourney thing. I'm not a good enough fisherman. Lol. But I'll never again launch at Aucilla.

...because those are the rules set in place for this tournament series? Easy enough explanation for me.

Yea, Aucilla is a hit and miss proposition, if your not careful. I would say that it is no more dangerous than Econfina on the same tide.
