Hit the ramp around 10 and made the decision to play with the rock bass until the tide came in some. Went to a well known underwater rock and there are sheepshead all over it. Unfortunately we have no live bait. Rockbass bit good for an hour but only 1 keeper and 2 short grouper.
Headed to another rock, this one exposed and my 1st cast is greeted with a solid hookup. While i have this one on the line one of the kids hookup with their cast. Mine was 29", his was 17". He caught 2 more 17" reds and then nothing.
We left this spot and ran back to where we had caught some trout Monday, but nothing but a 13" trout. Ran around for another 3 hours trying to find em but never did.
Good report, think you were behind me on the way down, had to drop my boat off at sheilds to store for a week while I do some trailer work, was a big tease putting the boat in the water and then just park it and leave, but I will be ready real soon

Looked like a newer boat. What kind of trailer work?

New bunk boards and all new brackets, side bunks and side post , and some painting, it's a 02 Seaark , going back this weekend after the chili cook off and picking it up, may try and scat out for a few minutes and wet a line while I'm there but the fishing seems to have all messed up right now
