You just have to go try them for yourself and figure it out. Normally, the ones with the more drastic channel and more oysters / rock tend to be better.

Do mullet come in with the tide near the boat ramp? I'm not schooled on the Econfina but I used to visit my friend who has a house there. I saw a boy catching some there at the ramp once but I didn't bother him. I've since been back a few times when I had time out of the blue (in other words no planning) and seen none. I would always take a few casts just because and once I hung a 5 lbs easy bass that got off at my feet :smt011

Go when there's enough water and fish the grasslines and mouths of the creeks, should do OK. Last time I fished the area in front of Long Point (towards the Aucilla) I did good but it's been a while. :)

DixieReb hit the correct answer. I fished the mouth of the river and caught at least 2 to 3 reds and a few trout. The water has to be high to fish the grass line.

I'm always looking for a good mullet bankfishing spot. I can catch them in my boat but I'd like to take my old man and my niece (the boat probably isn't a good idea for them).

When out 4/12/17 Caught 1 19 Red. I fished the West and the East never caught anything. When into the mouth of the River and caught my Red. Lots of boats most where in the creeks.
