Where are the reports from the tourney? We were going to fish. But the front and winds we decided not too. But the tourney went on I assume.

It was a good tournament, with some good stringers caught. My team fished North out of Keaton and came in second. We caught about 30 trout with the biggest one being 22 inches and most all of them in the 18" range. Also caught seven reds and two flounder.
Very cold run in the morning with the wind already blowing. The wind blew the tide out and the water never really came back in. We bumped bottom with my motor several times but were at idle speed and didn't do any serious damage. Some folks running near us on plane were not so lucky.
Chuck and Jeff won 1st place trout, I think Tran and Padgett came in 3rd, Rick B. and Brad had big red and most total weight, Aman's daughter caught her first redfish and it won the most spots pot, Gary Zelner got biggest flounder.

This is all from memory and may not be exactly correct. I am sure Chris will update the standings before long. Bottom line - it was cold, windy, and low water, but in certain areas the fish still bit. Good time was had by all.

Wondered how the tourney was going with that high pressure/wind as I worked on projects around the house.

Congrats to all the winners and especially that young lady on her first redfish!
