Ochlockonee Bay

Looks like the wind is finally going to lay down and so I'll be headed to Ochlockonee Bay this weekend. I haven't fished it in a couple of years so I'm not sure if my old spots are still productive. Any pointers from folks who have fished it lately would be appreciated. I used to catch huge black drum and sheepsheads on the bridge, trout on the oyster bars in the mouth, and reds in the creek mouths. Help please.

Go ahead and try your old spots out first. And as always, hit the grasslines and any feeder creek mouths early. Don't hesitate to head out to the flats/shoals.

Most of us have been fishing East of St Marks lately (Aucilla, Eco, Keaton, etc...) due to our most recent tournament(s) being there. Our next tourney is out of Eco as well..

Will be fishing there the weekend of the 18th myself. Not sure rather to fish in the bay or just head out toward piney island and or bald point. Haven't fished that exact area much don't know anything about the bay

Bald Point is an iffy spot if you aren't familiar with it. Oyster bars are everywhere so be careful if you chose that option. With the water temps the trout should be on the grass flats by now. Around Piney island and on the St marks West flats is where I would try.
