Ask yourself why you didn't pay better attention

.....
Seriously...take shelter close to the hill as you can get, preferably in a small creek or bay....lay all the rods, nets and antennas down....get to the bottom of the boat and ride it out.....
Offshore is different...can't comment on that much, anything over 8 foot is offshore to me

All depends on what the rest of the area looks like. If there is only a storm between me and land, I keep fishing, while watching which direction it's going. If it moves toward me, I will either run to one side or the other, or if I feel the need, run strait through it with everything laying down . As a rule, I usually go in before they can catch me out away from the landing
