This is the dumbest question of all time...

This is actually a gun argument which involves diving and spearfishing.
So I work with this guy who knows everything...
He says that some divers use a Glock handgun with a special firing pin and FMJ ammunition as shark protection when they dive.
Now this guy also thinks his Glock could fly the space shuttle so I don't know whether to call BS on this one or not.
So I thought I would ask you guys over here.

Glad I didn't call him out then
Is spearboard worth a visit or what?

Spearboard is great. They have a great community of folks over there like here, and most are hardcore spearfishermen. They have some great photos and videos that make it to the board too. I don't dive...yet...., but reading some of there stuff will get you pumped for doing it.

				Atticus,
If you go to spearboard.....go to the off topic forum and check out the Bikini Thread. It's a good way to pass some time.....219 pages of quality pics!

Spearboard is one of the best places for spearing and diving information that I have seen. Use the search function to find info. on topics you might be interested in. Chances are if you have a question, it has already been discussed at length at some point in time.
I must have missed them talking about using a Glock for shark protection. I have never heard of that.
