Long time lurker/rarely post here. I enjoy this reading this forum often. My son and I will be there Saturday as it seems that our full time jobs are getting in the way of these types of more important activities. Hopefully everyone will behave! :D

Anyone one know what the state is doing there to the left of the ramp (where you can tied up to the posts)?

Report from April Fools as follows:

Got on the water at 0805hrs. Little chilly but made you feel alive. Tide was falling so we went gathered a few pins and went to a favorite creek mouth. We just use a brim buster and either bread balls or dead shrimp. They are usually more than willing and ready to fish with you. We were happy to find a 23" Trout and two lower slot reds by 1130hrs. Rays started showing up so we headed out to the flat for incoming tide. Recalled from someones previous post that 3' - 6' would probably get some. We did a few drifts with gulp and tourist rigs. Also used a plane old white/white jig to bounce around. Picked up a few shorts and a few keepers. Let some 15" go to fight another day and also lost a good one at the boat(yeah right). Was glad to see the Rock Bass still feisty but did not manage any keepers. We kept the two lower slot reds(20" - 20.5") and four trout total. Great day on the water with my son. We were feet dry at 1600hrs. :D
