Wanted to fish Keaton Sunday but alas I didn't get to live oak until 9:30pm so no fishing on Sunday for me. Didn't get on the water until 10 but limited on Trout Monday at steinhatchee to make up for it, also caught 1 keeper sea bass and a short cobia. Not many shorts were caught nor could we find reds. Most of the fish were in 3-4 ft and were caught either on a paul brown devil or a chartreuse mirrolure. All the fish caught on popping corks with gulp were short, they wanted anything with chartreuse in it. Looking forward to going back on the 28th.

Nice haul , question was the cobia close in shore ? I'm used to fishing Destin where you cruise just off shore and site cast , steinhatchee is an old friend but haven't fished it until last week for about 20 years

The cobia was in about 2ft of water, I was getting ready to go back to 3-4 when it hit. It was a great trip, I just want to catch my first steinhatchee redfish.

You were right about the chartreuse, today we caught about 10 trout with 4 keepers. All but 2 of them came from pearl white gulp with chartreuse tail under thin Cajun thunder. It was a tough day, bad windy.
