Light wire 5/0 to 6/0 weighted swim bait hook or long shank jig head.

Capt. Ed Zyak of DOA showed me a cool trick with these. With a simple hole punch (available at dollar stores), punch a hole in the center of the tail. Take a pair of scissors and cut into the hole at a forward angle. The plastic won't rip with the hole and the cut tail really flutters like a buzz bait. The Arkansas Glow is my favorite, but I've caught good fish on other colors too.

I almost always stick to new penny or glow w/ chartreuse tail.. if those don't work, I go to gulps.
