April 22 Ecofina report.

Robert and I got to the landing at 8:00 and man the water was low. Saw and talked to Blue Spinner at the ramp. Good to see ya. Headed out to almost slick calm conditions. Image. Headed In the Rock Island direction and got to fishing. It took a while but fish started flying into the box. At 6 in the box we put the next 4 in the live well as they were 15.25-16"Image. It is 10:30 and we have a limit of trout. So we kept fishing hoping for bigger trout to swap with those on the well. I hailed members and got one response from Teachers pet? How did y'all do? Well back to fishing we traded one trout for an 18". Then I got this guy. Image. Man what a pull for a trout. At 2:00 we decided to call it a day. Man it was a great day with one of my oldest friends. Image. It was all because of my wife. She put the lucky duck on the boat. :). Image.

Good day for sure. Was there Friday @ sunrise, went straight out, lots of shorts,keeper or two. Moved west lots of shorts, ladies and rockies. Went east in front of hickory mound, lots of shorts couple keepers and a 32 " cobia. Ended day with six nice keepers between the two of us.
