The NFGFC 2017 May Tournament will be held out of the Port St.Joe Public ramp (This will be where weigh in is)

on Saturday May 6th ,Safe light is 6:54 a.m. EST, Launch Boundaries are Eagle Harbor to the Intracoastal Waterway at the St.Joe Bridge.

-Tournament entry fee is $20 per (2 person) boat for club members if you register at the meeting on February 2nd. $10 per each additional member (up to 4 anglers) All non members will HAVE to pay an additional $5 on top of all regular member fees.

**This replaces the tournament day sign ups and all entries must be received by safe light the day of the tournament.PayPal will time stamp your entry.



-WE NOW HAVE THE ABILITY TO TAKE YOUR CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS AT THE MEETING, We accept all major credit card, chip cards and Apple Pay At registration, those who have their forms filled out will be registered first.



Tournament Format: Trout, weigh your stringer of 5 trout and 1 can be over 20". The combined weight of each team’s catch of fish will determine the winner.



Side pots:

Big Trout - $5 per person, everyone on the boat must participate to win.

Big Redfish - $10 per person, everyone on the boat must participate to win.

Total weight - $5 per boat, Most combined weight of all tournament fish (Trout, Red, Flounder, & Mystery fish) ***does not count toward angler of the year points***

Teams must be checked in by 3:30pm EST on tournament day. There will be a sign in sheet that at least one member must sign off on before the 3:30p.m. check in time. The weigh-in will begin at 3:45 pm and teams will weigh their fish in the order of entry.


Who's In?

I will so not be there. High School State Track Meet that weekend. I'm retiring from coaching/teaching next year, and buying a flats skiff to learn how to really catch fish. Looking for partners.

Andrew and I will be there. Hobb's is going out of town I believe, so he won't make it.

Looking forward to it. This is always a good tournament with some of our biggest fish weighed.

I just got a reservation for the evening of Fri. May 5th at Mainstay Suites. Any of you who need a room may want to go ahead and call. It didn't seem like they had many rooms left.

$10.00, JT that sounds a little shady to me, that sounds like Whimpy, I'll gladly pay you tomorrow for a hamburger today. Oh I forget, most of these guys aren't old enough to remember Whimpy.

I guess there is something weird between me, my computer and the nfgfc site.
I thought I hit all the right buttons and paid the amount it stated.
The form itself would never verify it was sent.
Five attempts were made to send it.
I just re-tried to complete a new entry.
Every time I chose 3 people it would register as 2 people.
Any who....I will give 10 bucks more (Tuesday).

Not sure why some people have issues and some don't. Sorry guys, we are trying to make it easier for everyone but sometimes technology has a mind of its own.

Also remember the weigh has been changed... it is still at 3:30pm EST but will now be done at PRENELL'S INSTEAD OF THE CITY RAMP (DUE TO CONSTRUCTION)
