Advice from the more experienced needed.

I am contemplating a quick trip down for Friday and Saturday but just checked NOAA and saw the following:

Friday
West winds 25 to 30 knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet with occasional seas up to 9 feet. Dominant period 5 seconds. Protected waters rough. Slight chance of rain.
Friday Night
West winds 25 to 30 knots...becoming northwest 15 to 20 knots after midnight. Seas 6 to 9 feet with occasional seas up to 11 feet subsiding to 4 to 6 feet with occasional seas up to 8 feet after midnight. Highest seas offshore. Protected waters choppy to rough.
Saturday
Northwest winds 15 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet with occasional seas up to 6 feet well offshore. Protected waters a moderate chop.

I know this is not an exact science but what are y'all thinking about this weekend

A quick trip down to where?

Friday will be tough, unless it is tournament day I'm not fishing (ie Rock The Dock last weekend).
Saturday is doable as long as you have a boat that can handle and can fish rather protected waters...

NOW SUNDAY... HOLLLLLLLLLLY SWEETNESS

I should of mentioned it was St Marks. It looks like it's gonna be pretty sporty once you get past the lighthouse.
Fishin out of a 21 foot kenner.

More info would produce better advice.

You going offshore or Trout fishing?

In a 21' Bay boat you should be fine fishing the grass flats on Saturday. If you plan to go offshore you need to read the forecast fine print carefully where it says 6' seas, mentions 9' seas, etc. The boat might take it and you probably would get out there and back alive......but fun would be hard to find on that trip. :smt009

Pouring 2 gallons of liquid Dramamine all over your body might help.
