Day 2 Ecofina trip. Saturday.

The water was low low low this morn.
. When we got to the ramp this morn saw Spinner there and he said they were going out later.
. With one of the other boats with us right behind. We started idling out. Got past the long stretch past the no wake zone. The depth finder said 4.5' so we showered down on it. Almost on plane and BAM!!! Hit a rock dang it!! Let the motor up to look and saw a nice chunk gone from the skeg. But the prop was fine so we idled on out till we knew it was safe to plane out. Ran down towards Rock Island in conditions just a little better than yesterday with 62 water temp and murky. The only thing biting was pinfish so I loaded the well with pins. After a couple hours we decided to move towards Aucilla and it was a good move. We immediately started picking up fish. I put 3 in the box when Daniel hooked into something good and this guy came to the net.
. 20" gag. We kept redrifting the area picking up fish each time.
.
. Around 2::00 we had our limit of trout with a few Seabass and blues mixed in. Man our day turned around.
.
. Fine cooler of fish. Great day with good friends.
