Off shore Report 3/30/02

[Sea Legs]

Left C-belle on friday evening weather absoutly beautiful sea less than 1 ft.went out to Yammaha reef to spend the night. Caught 1 keeper grouper 28". The bite was very slow in the morning through about 2:00 pm. fished a good number of spots from 80' all the way in to about 40' the bite seemed to peak at about 3:30 pm caught 7 keepers in about 1 hour. back to dock by dark. all in all a great weekend. water temp was about 66-67 deg.we did not see any cobia at O tower but got a report of a 60-70 lber. around the Template. PS spanish are everywhere!
