Solo Morning Topwater Redfish!!

Another glassy June morning in the books. Trying out the new Shimano Curado, and the topwater bite was nothing less than spectacular! All slot reds, all caught and released. Enjoy!

I like a steady walk-the-dog action for redfish. It may appear in the video that i'm working it really fast, but i feel just a constant pace to keep the action steady. They seems to key in on the constant movement. Trout on the other hand will hit a steady retrieve but i like to vary my speeds with pauses when targeting trout specifically.
