From Lanark Market, go west. Fish the grass and depressions towards Carrabelle from where the channel turns south toward Dog Island. Float a piece of cut-bait on a fairly heavy rod out the back of your boat in that area. There are lots of big toothy critters there for a little added excitement. I'll be there in 3 weeks, so don't catch 'em all!

We wore out the trout, spanish, and bluefish out on dog island reef earlier this week. We had equal success floating a gulp under a CT and bouncing a gulp along the bottom. 5-8 ft was the depth we caught them at.

Went Saturday afternoon and it was tough fishing. So many boats and the fish were very scattered. Depending on the rain, there is less fresh water incursion from the east of Lanark. Lots of boats were out on the sand bar straight west of Alligator Point, but didn't hear many good results at the ramp.
