Mikes Marine Supply

Post by bbb »

One of the best used boat buying experiences ever and i've done quite a bit of trading these last few years.

Initially I only stopped to get an idea of what kind of boat I was interested in since he had so many to look at. I was headed to PC via 98 looking for a deal. I figured a good deal could not be had buying from a boat dealer. When I was quoted a price my jaw did not hit the floor. It was actually in the ballpark of Craigslist boats. Then he said everything not working on the boat will be fixed or replaced. (Boat had just been traded in). Every used boat I have ever bought needed all the little stuff fixed. I Gave him a few days to go over the boat, and Bilge, live well, horn, nav lights, trolling motor, gps, courtesy lights, trailer lights all work. [THUMBS UP SIGN]

Due to my impatience and going to the beach next week I asked for the boat before it was able to be detailed but will take it back in a couple weeks for that.

I was Getting ready to sign the papers, I was just about to throw down my mad negotiating skills and he about interrupted me with his new price. Lets just say negotiation not needed. Take my money now.

I did not enjoy search for a boat mid summer but this was a good way to end the search.
