Has anyone put in a fuel gauge aftermarket for a red 10 gallon tank? I would like to use a fuel gauge instead of having to look at the tank to see how full it is?

Think I would spend the extra money, $60/$70 for a new tank with gauge vs rigging one. Safety first, money second.

correct i have a g3 boat. you have to remove the bimini top and raise a lid to check the fuel.

Is the tank mounted or removable.

Are you talking about a remote gauge (on console?) and a sending unit in tank, if so I would contact G3 boats and see if that boat had the option for one or at least who made the tank. installing the gauge and sending unit would not be to bad that is if you can get to the tank and run the wire's from tank to console.

HEY BOY, JUST TAKE THE FILLER CAP OFF AND STICK A 1/4 INCH DOWL IN TO THE BOTTOM OF THE TANK, PULL IT OUT AND YOU CAN SEE HOW MUCH FUEL YOU HAVE.

Got a better idea keep a 2 gallon tank of gas on-board. If I don't need it somebody else might.
