Anyone fished over to the west lately? I'm looking for the trout to school on the shrimp. Had a blast last October thru January in this area.

Have not lately but going next weekend. How do you fish the shrimp run? Never had much luck.

I look for the sea gulls in the afternoon and throw gulps on jig heads either under a popping cork, or by themselves. Catch mostly sand trout, but still catch a lot of specs.

Sounds like fun. Storm may change our plans for the weekend, making the call on Thursday.
