Happy birthday BBG and tkjbh, hope y'all had /have a great birthday.

All day field trip with the little one to the TLH museum ("zoo" as humble of one as it may be seems more fitting but guess "museum" sounds more PC and points to being educational ) followed up by an evening watching her cheer at a Maclay game where the opposing team didn't show but cheering went forward nonetheless, and an evening call where my 89 year old dad passed on the painful wisdom that my hallmark birthday marked one where my young days were behind me and my older days ahead.

Not the most conventional one I've had... BUT got to see some cool Florida creatures (those who know me know it's a passion), spent a fun day with my gift-from-God daughter, and feel beyond blessed I've still got my father around and kicking to keep it real with me! Ended the day feeling blessed for sure!
