fished with son who came down from Winder Ga. new years week end . went to Waccassa river sat quit counting snook at 35 in the first 2 hrs about every 5 snook we would catch a red . snook were all 15 to 20 in reds 15 to 21

Nice! Nothing like fishing w your son! I hope these next few days of freezing temps doesn't kill off those snook or any other type fish for that matter. Never caught one before and would love to be able to check one more fish off my to do list. Happy New Year everyone!

:thumbup: Love that kind of action where almost every cast triggers a strike! With this colder water, even the little guys are pounding lures and fighting hard.

Hope this arctic snap won't freeze the snook. They'll be hunkered down in the deep holes or springs to ride it out.

definitely hold our breath thur coming weekend, it would be a shame to lose them now, that they are on the comeback
