been in Louisiana for 2 days and still not fishing
we stopped in Alexandria LA for the night

Good Morning!
We'll be going thru Louisiana and spending a night Monroe in March on our way to Colorado & Wyoming.
I've never actually fished there but folks tell me the REDfish are huge.

I have fished out of Slidell using a fabulous guide and the reds are huge. But so are the trout and largemouth bass all caught in the same area. I fished in November and December of 2017. Will be going back next Nov.

I'm headed out there in late April and my son's going to drive down from Barksdale AFB. Guide is going to try to show us fly fishing for reds. Fish or no fish, we'll have some fun!
