We went of Carrabelle on Tuesday from 11:00 til 5:00. Not much of a bite until about 4:00. We had two keepers in the boat prior to the that crazy hour of feeding. Between 4 and 5 the grouper were nailing us as quick as we could put them on board. We ended up keeping 9, half were between 15 and 18 pounds. We were only out about 8 miles.

I found the same thing out of the Ochlockonee River. The fishing just gets better at sundown. Navigation is a different story, but we use a DGPS. The grouper hit just about anything we threw at them and we had three breakoffs using 80# wire and 40# braided line. I wish I could have seen those fish. :lick:
