I'm one who has to side with the author. I like fishing artificials. Never had a problem catching fish with artificials. In fact, last weekend, for the first time in forever, I floated pins while fishing artificials. The only fish caught on the pins were shark. All of my trout came on artificials. As the author stated, I'd much rather fool um with plastic.

I side mostly with the author and TC, but I am about 70-30. 70 artificial, 30 natural. Always hang a pin off the back for excitement.. When the they are hitting live shrimp off a CT and not plastics bounced off the bottom I am never sure what to do. Any suggestions?

That's what she said..... :o ...Ohh live bait vs artificials sorry :smt043

What the "Can" said, keep on fishing.....Somedays it takes bait, some artificials and some days both......Heard the trout were hitting jigs tipped with fishbites in 10-12 foot water around Econfina....There you go Artificial Bait :smt023

I try to be prepared to try both depending on the weather, tides, time of day, water clarity and season of the year.
