Got a late start, on the water at 9a. (Hey this is suppose to be fun anyway)
Filled the livewell with shiners, hit a few spots 10-11a and struck out.
Rode by a reliable spot only to find a boat cruising every bar in sight throwing a 4' baitnet. Finger mullet I guess??
Shoulda just offered half of what I had for them to just go fish somewhere
Oh well, rode up river for a samich, grandkid gets grumpy on an empty stomach. Figured we'd hit the spot when we got back.
Came back to a 10+K SW wind, had the bay a mess, hate fishn the wind. Tide moving good and being pushed, bait ends up in the same spot no matter where ya throw it within a minute.
The Team (Grandma, me and him) stuck it out and managed a few....here's the winner and our grandson with his best impression of a horse fly. Yea they bit too, even in the wind!
