SKUNKED
Took my daughter fishing at the Mashes Sands pier. Arrived a little after 2pm on the rising tide just before a massive cloud-burst. Sat in the truck and waited for the rain to stop. Saw a handfull of boats scurrying back to the landing in the down-pour and lightning.
When we finally started fishing, I was hoping that we would at least get a few hungry pinfish, but no such luck. Threw the whole arsenal at the water and not even a bite.
No one else was catching much of anything but a few catfish and 1 whiting.
We still managed to have fun just being togetherfor the day.
