Fished Lake Hall this morning from 7:00 to 12:00. Rainy, breezy and overcast - a beautiful day for Florida in July. Water temp was warmer than the air (85 deg for water, 82 for air. Caught 7, including a 6.5 - 7lb bass. It measured 23X15 (I need to get a scale)., 1 16in, 2 15in and 3 dinks. The two biggest were caught on a yamamoto watermelon 10 inch grub with in a 3/8 gambler weight with rattle. The others were caught on senkos/cut-tails.

The big bass fought very hard - jumped once completely out of the air. I released it - need to pass those hard fighting genes on.

You did great for that Lake. I used to fish there 15 years ago and had only mild success. I enjoyed the privacy and hardly ever saw anyone else on the water. I threw plastic worms and dragged them across the lilly pads. It was fun and close to home for me.
