Hello, all. I've been building rods for a while now and recently began doing it for others as a service. I was handling all the repairs for Masters of Gun and Rod in Gary's absence from January up until a couple weeks ago. I won't be offering my services on consignment through them anymore but I can be reached directly and I offer pick up and drop off at Angie's Marine Supply in Crawfordville. Check out my website at forgottencoastrods.com

What is the typical cost to replace broken eyes on spinning rods? I've got three "mid-grade" rods that unfortunately came with really poor quality eyes.

For your standard spinning rod I charge $20 for the first repair and 10 for each additional repair. Guides and tip-tops generally run between $1.00 and 3.00.
