Fishing in the Midsouth and West coast

While work has me stuck in Missouri I decided to try my hand at trout fishing for something other than seatrout, so I headed to Montauk State Park to fish the Current River here in MO. Google maps gave me a rather interesting route as I ended up on the riverbed
But I got to my destination
and got to see Montauk Spring

But after fishing in Tn, Nc, and Mo I have once again been skunked trout fishing. However, last week I had high hopes as I was sent to Oregon for a business meeting and guided trout fishing was one of the activity options so I had high hopes and seeing Mt Hood was cool

It was pretty country

But I was itching to fish

But alas, I am still skunked by trout in 4 states so I guess I will stick to fishing for seatrout, the highlight of the trip was seeing the Pacific ocean and the Devils Punchbowl however.

And I found out while a pebble beach sounds cool, sand is much more comfortable
