When will the Keaton Beach Pier rebuild be completed?

I've never fished Keaton Beach but I know they had a nice looking and very long fishing pier adjacent to the channel. This pier was destroyed in 2016 by a hurricane, but the rebuid began in 2018. Does anyone know when the pier will be completed? Also, has anyone fished the pier or near it?

Last I heard, there were no plans to rebuild. It actually belonged to the restaurant that is no more.

The pier has been rebuilt, and is open for the public. it was open when Michael came thru (no damage)

Does anybody have an address for this spot? I tried to search google maps, but could not find anything. One thing I do like is that the images on google maps seem to be taken at extreme low tide so you can see all the rocks and bars.

Does anybody know if trout and reds come up in the canal channels in winter? The end of the pier is deep, has always looked like it might hold fish in the winter.

Yep, that is the one I was thinking of. Y'all talking about the one that went over the rocks at the end of the canal and I had heard that would be rebuilt.
