Been fishing the Gulf a lot of years and caught lots of Pinfish, but this one I caught yesterday has to be a record.
HUGE!

Very cool catch. Those big ones actually put up a decent fight on light tackle. I have a friend of mine from Egypt who loves to eat them. Tried it once... a lot of work for little return. Not for me.

World Record is something insane...over 3lbs!!! https://igfa.org/igfa-world-records-sea ... _1=Pinfish

I've caught a couple of random big ones offshore in 20+ feet, and have a neighbor who caught one at 15". Weighed about 2lbs I think, but still nothing close to the world record.

FL doesn't have a state record option for pinfish.

We eat the big ones. Love them. Better than a bream.

The big ones eat good, so do big pigfish grunts. My Dad used to laugh at me for keeping them, but hey, if I can eat it I keep it!

Yes. You don't need photo bucket, or any other app. You can post directly using the instructions Barry has posted. Very easy. You do have to be a site sponsor.

Yeah Reb people eat a bream the size of a butter bean, but frown down on someone eating a pinfish.

I figured they were boney or something cause never heard of eating them. Most people talk bad about blues. But if treated right after catching I love em.

Hard to beat a blue on the grill.
