I went from 3-8 ft. Water temp was 88.6. Hard to fish with so many boats running around. Game Commission checked me said he saw only one legal fish. I counted 48 boats from where i first stopped. Still a great day on water. Gonna cool down some day again.

It was slow for us yesterday, lots of boats out of Ecofina. Came home with 3 trout and a nice flounder in 6-8' of water.

One of my favorite summer holes has about 4-6 feet of water, depending on tide, but drops right off to about 10-12. The 4-6 is spotty bottom. Often have to wade through lady and shorts, but we have had some good days when it was miserably hot.

I recently had good luck out of econfina in the early mornings in around the 4-5’ range then moving to the 6-7’ in the afternoons when it warms up. Finding the deeper holes in later part of afternoon is always a good stop.
