Can anyone report the condition of the landing at Alligator Point? How big of a boat can be put in there? How affected is the landing with the tide?
Thanks in advance....

Others will chime in. But in my opinion You have three options on the point.
I’ve launched a flats boat and a John at all of them. Seen folks launch bigger boats but I have no experience with that.
1- The one by the marina. Sandy deep enough but easy to get stuck and NO PARKING
2- the one mid way down the point. For me only good at high tide. Limited parking.
3- sun and sand road at the back of the bay. Dirt ramp. Good at high tide only and a long run to the point.
Limited parking.

Sun and Sand ramp is currently packed full of Tarpon Skiffs every morning thru July. They get there early. Parking will be an issue.

So launching a 28' boat is probably not a good idea...
