St. Marks - 9/27

Decided to leave work two hours early today. Went to St. Marks. Fished for only two hours...drifted the flats for the first time. Only landed one fish...my very first cobia! 26”, so I had to let it go. It put up one heck of a good fight on my light tackle. I was bouncing a green colored soft plastic swim bait along the bottom.
At the dock another fisherman was cleaning a decent sized redfish and a limit of just barely legal size trout. He said he got them on the east flats.
